Doctor of Divinity
This is the same type of degree you would receive, from any other church in America. This degree allows you to put the D. D. behind your name, and it will open many doors for you. Thousands and thousands of people from all over the world have already received this degree. This degree does not give you any authority, such as marring people, or anything else having to do with the state. It is strictly a religious degree.
However, it does allow you to use the title of 'Doctor'. If you have a Ministers license with God's Living Words Ministry, then the Doctor of Divinity Degree this will give you even more power in the church. If you do not have a Ministers license, and would like to have one, we would be more than happy to supply you with one. Many thousands of people from the Baptist church, the Catholic church, and the Pentecostal type churches, from around the country, have this degree. The Federal Government has recognized this degree for more than 30 years. This Doctor of Divinity Degree has been our most supportive, in order to keep the church operating.
On February-28-1973 A Ministry which Ordained people in a simple manner of by mail order, and by other means. Filled a law suit against the United States Government. One seeking Taxes Exempt Status. When Federal Judge James F. Battin ruled on the exemption under 26 U.S.C. Sec. 501 (c) (3) in the Ministry's favor on taxes he also ruled on the legality of receiving ordination in a simple manner.
Here is part where Federal Judge James F. Battin decision concerning simple Ordination.
"The Court must then address itself to the defendant's second conclusion: that the Ordination of Ministers, the granting of church charters, and the issuance of Honorary Doctor of Divinity certificates by plaintiff are substantial activities which do not further any religious purpose. Certainly the Ordination of Ministers and the chartering of churches are accepted activities of religious organizations. The defendant impliedly admits that same on Page 5 of its Memorandum in Support of its Requested Instructions. The fact that the plaintiff distributed ministers credentials and Honorary Doctor of Divinity certificates is of no moment. Such activity may be analogized to mass conversions at a typical revival or religious crusade.
Neither this Court, nor any branch of this Government, will consider the merits or fallacies of a religion. Nor will the Court compare the beliefs, dogmas, and practices of a newly organized religion with those of an older, more established religion. Nor will the Court praise or condemn a religion, how ever excellent or fanatical or preposterous it may seem. Were the Court to do so, it would impinge upon the guarantees of the First Amendment."
